Over the last twenty years, the Database domain has contributed greatly with specialised technology for the management (interrogation, storage, indexing) of information. This course will present the fundamental concepts of the database domain and will underline which of them have had a great impact on the construction of applications. Namely: data models, query languages, persistence and transactions.
